Re: Ok :)

See, we're developing iSCSI software. SCSI traffic (also used by SCSI scanners) can be incapsulated in iSCSI protocol. Custom stuff (USB or whatever) -- cannot. That's the reason. Thank you for understanding. Ok, It is a pity. But I understand the program target is the important work to do. :) The s...

Re: oh, I should read something before post

StarWind is mainly targeted as storage subsystem. Scanners (SCSI ones) just work b/s they work. We don't plan redirect USB scanners, FireWire mouses etc. That's totally different story. Sorry, I have read now a post that talks about the starwind configuration. I should read it before post. Sorry. We...

So far we need somebody to translate the .rc files to Spanish and Frech. Please write me down and e-mail to anton@rocketdivision....

Yup. SAN file system is what should be used on the disk shared AS IS (via SPTI). Something what guys from www.dataplow.com offer. We're testing their stuff right now. Forks fine. You can contact them directly for evaluation and purchasing of their product. Much better idea then use NTFS :) Yup. Dyna...

Re: Windows 2003 Cluster and Starwind Errors

Yes, please check Valery's orignal post. And you'll have to download new StarWind (we've fixed MS clustering issue). http://groups.google.com/groups?q=starwind+rocketdivision&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=e6eb5906.0408081302.31ad0c0d%40posting.google.com&rnum=1 I am trying to build a M...

Whooops... It's supposed to be Kiev local time! Just kidding! :) I think Alex need to check time formatting code when he'll have some free minutes. Heh, just saw another thing while digging through the logs created by StarWind. All Timestamps are off a couple of whole hours... My timezone is CET (I ...

Re: Scandisk notification on every reboot of the target serv

If you're sharing your devices as SPTI ones I'd recommend not doing this at all. At least with the file system Windows 2003 (or whatever you use on target machine) recognizes (EXT2 or XFS or whatever Linux or Mac has on initiators are OK). See, Windows still trys to write something to disk even if i...

Well... First of all not every nForce3 mobo would work for you. Elder 150 models do not have GbE integrated and have also slow 600MHz HyperTransport making them "worst buy" for Athlon 64. Modern nForce3 250 w/o "Gb" index have only 10/100 Mb MAC so you need to look for exact matc...

Hold on. There should be StarWind for Linux released late September - early October. I think it would change the way iSCSI target software works under Linux dramatically :) Hi Alex, the unh version I using is current.cvs It looks like they didn't change the version.h in cvs - only in release Thanks ...

Just go ahead! It would be really nice if you'd find some time to share your results with us :) I intend to run the network tests tonight. Yup! Just give your hardware a hard times before we'll start fixing what's more then possibly not broken :) I'll check the driver for some type of log. I'll setup a test tomorrow and hammer it with larger packets without Stawind running and see what occurs. Funny the 9000 vs 9014 though.... a gui sh...
