Hi All

All of a sudden i have started to get warnings in the Starwinds event logs saying "HA device XXX command READ execution time 7859ms (storage performance degradation)"
Its not always "READ" sometimes its "WRITE" but there is many more reads than write warnings.

At first i thought the disk had gone but all tests on the drive come back fine, im getting a tonne of these errors, sometimes about 10 in 1 second (thats how its shows the timestamp on the event warnings)

In the logs themselfs it just says ...
11/25 0:43:49.874 514 HA: Warning: SscRequestTask(000000000A443C30) OpCode(0x35) DiffTimeCompleteINIT = 5735 ms, DiffTimeCompleteEXEC = 0 ms!
11/25 0:43:49.874 514 HA: Warning: SscRequestTask(000000000A444230) OpCode(0x28) DiffTimeCompleteINIT = 5735 ms, DiffTimeCompleteEXEC = 0 ms!
11/25 0:43:49.874 514 HA: Warning: SscRequestTask(000000000A444830) OpCode(0x5E) DiffTimeCompleteINIT = 5438 ms, DiffTimeCompleteEXEC = 0 ms!
11/25 0:43:49.874 514 HA: Warning: SscRequestTask(000000000A4472C0) OpCode(0x1A) DiffTimeCompleteINIT = 4985 ms, DiffTimeCompleteEXEC = 0 ms!

Could anyone please advise?

Thanks

Hi Anton

I think I have found the Problem, The raid controllers battery cache had died, i have replaced it and it all seems to be running normally again. I will let you know if this changes.

Thanks for your help
