Hi all,
Has anyone had success with shutting down the Starwind cluster using Eaton IPM 2.7.x version recently in a controlled manner
My expected shutdown procedure i want in my environment is

1.Loss of mains power
2.Hypervisors run on UPS
3.When the run time on the UPS reaches X minutes
4. The VM's are shutdown in their preferred order
5. The storage cluster is put in maintenance mode ( how can this be done)
6. Then the hypervisor is then shutdown

The Eaton IPM is capable of running scripts, so i am wondering when the VM's are turned off how can the script be executed to put the CSV is maintenance mode.

Many thanks

Hi,

Welcome to StarWindd Forum. Eaton should do well, I think. You can use this script to automate shutdowns.
