Part 1: Backup and Restore Wizard - This four part document provides basic step-by-step instructions on using StarWind virtual tape devices and virtual tape libraries (VTL) based upon hard disk storage. StarWind’s VTL solution allows Backup Manager s to store backup data on inexpensive PATA and SATA hard drive systems, instead of using expensive tapes and tape drive systems. VTLs offer scalability and increased performance for both backup and restore operations. The document includes detailed step-by-step instructions, illustrations and screen shots to aid users.
