Azure Data Box Support

If you need to move your data to Azure in bulk, StarWind can easily handle that as well. Our Virtual Tape Library supports Azure Data Box which allows to move stored or in-flight data to Azure rapidly and cost-effectively. Data Box devices enable you to move large amounts of data to Azure when busy networks are just no good. Data is AES-encrypted and the devices are wiped clean after upload.

Tape P2V Conversion

StarWind can transfer all your existing tape data to Azure with minimum manual labor involved and without shipping tapes anywhere. Once physical tapes are converted to virtual tapes, StarWind will migrate them and all future virtual tapes to Azure, and take manual labor out of DR shipping and tape handling for good. The content of the virtualized tapes is accessible instantly. The tape bar codes are also transferred during the conversion, so applications won't have any problems indexing the existing data.
