SCOM 2016 on Windows Server 2016 Server Core

We’ll start with prerequisites for the management servers and the web server. The console will be installed on another server, like the reporting server.

When it’s done, you can start the installation of SCOM, with the following command, by adapting with your values:

To see the progression of the installation, open logs OpsMgrSetupWizard.log and Setup0.log who are located in C:\Users\fappointaire\AppData\Local\SCOM\LOGS\ :

setup0 log

opsmgrsetupwizard log

You can see that the installation is done. Restart the server and, as indicated, an evaluation version has been installed. I’ll install my license, with the following command:

I installed the SCOM console on another server, and I applied the UR1 patch? You can now connect to your SCOM server, who is installed on a Server Core 🙂
