Connect it Networks improves hardware resource utilization and performance by implementing StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN)
CHALLENGE
Before StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN) deployment, the setup of Connect it Networks consisted of backing up one server to the other, but they couldn’t fully leverage the resources like RAM and CPU of the backup server, limiting their potential to storage purposes only. The company wanted to optimize its infrastructure without the need for expensive server upgrades or replacements.
We discovered that the “old infrastructure” was actually underutilized but being powerful – we upgraded the CPU, RAM and Storage and noticed that the “old” became new again.

SOLUTION
Realizing the value of its existing servers and the need for a software solution to maximize its potential, Connect it Networks turned to StarWind VSAN.
StarWind VSAN offered a powerful and efficient solution to utilize the underutilized resources of its servers. Instead of investing in new hardware, Connect it Networks upgraded the CPU, RAM, and storage of its existing servers. With StarWind VSAN, the old infrastructure transformed into a new and high performing system.
The StarWind VSAN solution allowed Connect it Networks to create a virtual SAN environment, enabling the pooling of resources from multiple servers and distributing the workload effectively. By harnessing the combined power of its servers, Connect it Networks achieved optimal utilization of CPU, RAM, and storage resources, resulting in improved performance and efficiency.
