CHALLENGE

Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), Children’s Institute relied on standalone Hyper-V servers to meet its virtualization needs. The organization faced the lack of a fast and efficient method to restore Virtual Machines (VMs) from backup in the event of a Hyper-V host failure. This posed a two-fold problem: first, the restoration process was time-consuming, causing service interruptions, and second, it was prone to errors, potentially resulting in data loss. This situation was far from ideal and required a robust solution to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of its essential services.

SOLUTION
