CHALLENGE

Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), Flotman Sp. Z o. o. faced significant performance and reliability issues due to its non– virtualized, aging infrastructure, consisting of six bare metal servers. As business demands grew, disk performance deteriorated, and the company was frequently dealing with server failures that created a single point of failure (SPOF). It became essential to upgrade their IT environment to support business growth, but traditional solutions with deploying a dedicated SAN with a Hyper-V cluster were too costly.

So, the company realized the need to virtualize its environment by building a cost–efficient, fault– tolerant, and redundant IT Infrastructure.
