CHALLENGE

Before StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN) deployment, CShaheen Tech s IT infrastructure relied on two independent hypervisors with VM replicas, managed by Hyper-V. Nightly VM replication was manually conducted, and failover was nonautomatic, leading to potential downtime and manual intervention in case of system failure. With limited shared storage functionality in Windows, setting up high availability (HA) was cumbersome, often necessitating redundant VM setups for reliability.

The company was looking for a cost-efficient shared storage solution to address its challenges.

The UI is great and works from any member machine or connected machine. I plan to continue using a StarWind solution and recommending it to my clients.
