CHALLENGE

Before deploying StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), the Nigerian branch of eHealth Africa Solutions has been running a standalone XCP-ng virtual host on XenServer. Upon its growth, the organization faced difficulties with managing the storage pool.

The existing infrastructure lacked the capability to consolidate storage into a SAN environment, hindering scalability and robustness.

Before StarWind, the other options were requiring more than we could afford. Thank you for making life better for us this year and beyond!

SOLUTION

eHealth Africa Solutions selected StarWind VSAN among other storage solutions for its compatibility with the current environment, simplicity, scalability, robustness, and cost savings. StarWind ProActive Premium Support further solidified the decision. Upon implementation, StarWind VSAN consolidated the storage infrastructure seamlessly, addressing the inefficiencies of the old system.

The organization plans to enhance the infrastructure by adding a second node for high availability (HA), further leveraging StarWind’s capabilities. With StarWind VSAN in place, the infrastructure now meets all requirements efficiently.
