CHALENGE

Before the deployment of StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), River Run relied on an HPE LeftHand VSAN infrastructure, coupled with VMware ESXi hypervisor, to support its IT operations. However, the existing infrastructure posed a significant challenge as the product offering had reached its end-of-life (EOL).

This presented a dilemma as immediate replacement of hardware wasn’t feasible, and finding a suitable solution that could seamlessly integrate with the current setup proved difficult.

StarWind VSAN is fast, efficient, and easy to maintain with excellent support – this meets the requirements that we have.

SOLUTION

River Run chose StarWind VSAN due to its exceptional value proposition and compatibility with its existing environment. StarWind provided a smooth transition from the outdated infrastructure to a new architecture without necessitating an immediate hardware overhaul. This solution not only addressed the EOL issue but also ensured continuity of operations without disruptive hardware replacements.

With StarWind ProActive Premium Support, River Run experiences minimal downtime and streamlined operations, ultimately enhancing its service delivery to clients. The company plans to continue deploying StarWind within its client base, recognizing its efficacy in enhancing IT infrastructure without exorbitant costs.
