OMR Infogérance Groupe VFLI enhances its service reliability by creating a two-server cluster across two buildings with StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA)
CHALLENGE
Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), OMR Infogérance Groupe VFLIT had an IT infrastructure, consisting of NetApp storage and VMware vSAN. The infrastructure spanned across two separate buildings but lacked a crucial witness component, making it vulnerable to failures and downtimes. The company used VMware ESXi and Hyper–V hypervisors but struggled to achieve seamless integration and high availability.
The absence of a witness meant that failover and redundancy were not adequately addressed, posing a risk to the company’s operations. Moreover, the existing setup did not meet the performance and reliability standards required for its critical applications.
With StarWind HCI Appliance, we have excellent performance and a very reassuring cluster.
