CHALLENGE

Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), OMR Infogérance Groupe VFLIT had an IT infrastructure, consisting of NetApp storage and VMware vSAN. The infrastructure spanned across two separate buildings but lacked a crucial witness component, making it vulnerable to failures and downtimes. The company used VMware ESXi and HyperV hypervisors but struggled to achieve seamless integration and high availability.

The absence of a witness meant that failover and redundancy were not adequately addressed, posing a risk to the companys operations. Moreover, the existing setup did not meet the performance and reliability standards required for its critical applications.

With StarWind HCI Appliance, we have excellent performance and a very reassuring cluster.

SOLUTION

OMR Infogérance Groupe VFLI chose StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA) due to its highly responsive support and the promise of a resilient, high– performance infrastructure. The deployment involved creating a twoserver cluster that effectively bridged the gap between the buildings. This configuration not only enhanced performance but also introduced a reassuring level of redundancy.

The integration of StarWind HCI Appliance enabled seamless synchronization and failover capabilities, ensuring that the IT infrastructure met all operational requirements.
