CHALLENGE
Before implementing StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA), OMR Infogérance Groupe VFLIT had an IT infrastructure, consisting ofNetApp storage and VMware vSAN. The infrastructure spanned across two separate buildings but lacked a crucialwitness component, making it vulnerable to failures and downtimes. The company used VMware ESXi and Hyper–V hypervisors but struggled to achieve seamless integration and high availability.
The absence of awitness meant that failover and redundancywere not adequately addressed, posing a riskto the company’s operations. Moreover, the existing setup did not meet the performance and reliability standards required for its critical applications.
