StarWind iSCSI SAN Passed VMware's Certification Program For VMware ESX Server 4.1
StarWind Enterprise HA Achieved VMware ReadyTM Status
Burlington, Mass. – May 26, 2011 - StarWind Software, a global leader in storage virtualization and a pioneer in iSCSI storage, today announced that StarWind Enterprise HA iSCSI SAN software is now officially certified by VMware and it will be included on the VMware Compatibility Guide. To receive this accreditation, StarWind Enterprise HA has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process as well as met all the integration and interoperability criteria required by VMware.
StarWind Enterprise HA iSCSI SAN software ensures that data is accessible and online in the event of site failure. The Active-Active High Availability technology significantly increases application and data availability and provides business continuity. Real-time I/O mirroring is one of High Availability features. It ensures that all the applications are continuously up and running without any disruption even in the event of cluster storage failover to a second storage node.
