System Requirements
StarWind Software solutions consist of two components: StarWind Service and StarWind Management Console (GUI). Complete installations will install both components. Custom installations will install either component. Minimum and recommended hardware requirements and supported operating systems for StarWind storage virtualization solutions are listed below.
• Hard Disk Space: 100 MB for product installation
• Network: 1 Gbps or higher LAN

StarWind Hyper-V Backup Plug-in supports 64-bit versions of:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
• Microsoft Windows 8

Management Console
Management console can be installed on any server/PC/laptop running Windows XP or higher.
